Many natural products she tried previously were not effective, or effective and overly expensive. Jen finally went with the inexpensive pharmacy varieties for convenience, secretly worried about the impact of all the chemicals in the ingredients lists. Some of the chemicals in day-to-day pharmacy skincare are actually the same or similar to what we remediate for groundwater. Ugh. She believed it impossible to have great skin without retinol and skin plumpers, heavy-laiden with petroleum and other well known chemicals that penetrate skin. She did everything wrong and frankly does not have great genetics in the skin department (sorry family!), so her products come from a grand experiment on herself, and so far, the natural skincare is working far better than previously petroleum and chemical heavy products!
